Comfortable Creations internal configuration changes are based around making your current property more user friendly as well as making changes to the layout to allow for ground floor living. In many cases this is simply finding or creating space for ground floor wet rooms or shower rooms with toilet facilities, making small changes around door frame’s, doors and entrances to allow for frames or wheel chairs just in case they are needed in years to come. We also look at reception rooms to close them back off to make a ground floor bedroom or how best to use the space without effecting the value of the property.
If more space is required we also look into how best to extend the property and configure the existing layout to maximise space whilst also looking at the commercial aspect and how much value we can add to your property with the extension. For this type of appointment we would usually appoint our consultant with 15 years previous experience in sales within the property market along with a planning consultant we work alongside.

Comfortable creations look at alterations to existing outbuildings like garages making temporary changes to them to allow for extra reception space. We try to concentrate on things which do not require planning but make useable comfortable space with minimum hassle.
Sometimes people do not see the possibilities to create more space, we look at things like a new roof with a pitch to give better head height, a temporary wall or insulation in front of the garage door, double glazed window or doors facing into the garden, armoured cabling housing significant power supply for heating and appliances. Can water be supplied, does it allow us to fit a toilet and sink into the main drain or into a cess pit. Would a little be patio area be useful and aesthetically correct.
On some occasions it may be that your only option is to either extend your current property or if you have the space create a free standing annex. This would more than likely require planning permission if so we would require the planning consultant to attend with one of the Comfortable creation team members for our appointment.
The planning consultant works independently from us and there would be a small fee for his visit and expertise this would be taken off the cost of any work if you decide to proceed. After the visit if planning is required we will advise you of the cost of planner obtaining it for you. On minor structural alterations that may require building approval we will fully handle this on your behalf.
